Hi all,

I’m very proud of you guys (many of whom I know well) and speaking from experience know that the Academy’s black belt is one of the most challenging and comprehensive mental and physical tests that someone will ever have to meet and defeat. Well done all of you! I hope to visit the club again soon to say hi to some very dear old friends.

Well done to everyone whether you passed or failed, I went through the same process years ago, failed and passed and it is well worth it in the end. Wish I could have been there to see it, i’m sure it would have brought back some fond painfull memories.

Awesome fotos of a great bunch who worked hard both leading upto and during the grading. Proud to know them and train with them every single one gave there all showing real heart a fantastic bunch, and a inspirational new generation for the future.

I think it’s clear to everyone who does your classes, that if it is the case that you don’t say exactly what’s in your head; you definitely say what needs to be said.
Your wisdom and insight has proved invaluable to my understanding of these martial arts over the last few years.

Thats still a film i’m looking forward to seeing. I’ve never had a chance to say this to you Bob but I had a speech problem as a child, for me the words just wouldn’t come out so I’d tense up and make it worse, in fact even now it happens on the phone sometimes so I prefer to drive out of my way to be face to face with someone, see the whites of their eyes!
Anyway when I first walked into your Academy as a 16 year old and had a chat with you I was amazed that you stammered, i looked around and saw what you had achieved and the respect you got from your students and friends etc. well it was honestly an inspiration to me and had an effect on me more than you’d know.
